A: You can rest easy knowing that Continuum FCP 2022 runs smoothly alongside previous versions. Your legacy projects will continue to render without issues. Moving forward, we suggest you work exclusively with Continuum FCP 2021 (or later) for optimal results and performance.
Q. Will my Continuum FCP 2022 license work on multiple computers?
You’re allowed one activation per license, but can easily move your license (deactivate/activate) between multiple workstations using our handy Boris FX Application Manager. If you have more than 5 licenses, please contact sales@borisfx.com for information on how to upgrade to a floating license server.

Continuum FCP 2022 has been rebuilt from the ground up with new technology that renders everything on the graphics processor, resulting in significant performance boosts over previous versions of Continuum. The new Continuum FCP filters do not share any common resources with the legacy Continuum FCP filters. Continuum FCP 2022 is essentially a brand new product. If you have an FCP or Motion project that includes instances of legacy Continuum filters then you will need to install the legacy Continuum filters as well as the new Continuum filters. Once you do this you will find all of the legacy Continuum filters, transitions, and generators along with all of the new Continuum FCP filters in a side-by-side configuration. |
